Rochester Hills Carnival

Rochester Hills Carnival 2017 serves as a fundraiser for the Rochester Hills Lions Club and is a springtime tradition! The carnival features carnival midway rides, games, food and family fun. Buy individual ride and food tickets or purchase one-price all-day wrist bands. Again this year, there will be the very special LED lit “Eye in the Sky” giant Ferris wheel, and specialty rides like the Freak Out and the Himalya. Proceeds from the spring carnival benefit the Leader Dog School for the Blind and local Lions Club charities.
An Evening of Amphibians

Meet live birds of prey provided by Howell Nature Center. Feather fun includes a bird hike to see how many birds you can find, as well as bird-related games and crafts. Free Wood Chips Day
Orion Oaks County Park (Lake Orion)

Oakland County Parks is giving away free wood chips. All wood chips must be manually self-loaded into vehicles. No commercial haulers allowed. The wood chips consist of assorted types of wood collected from pruning and storm damage. Bring shovels or pitchforks, wheelbarrows and buckets.
